Online Editor
Location: Remote/Flexible (Occasional meetings in North West of England, Greater Manchester Area)
Commitment: Approximately 3 hours per week (flexible schedule)
Type: Unpaid
Note: This is an unpaid role.
At Memorisica, we're all driven by a shared love for creating compelling content, and right now, all of our team — including management — is working on a volunteer basis. Every bit of revenue we generate is reinvested directly into the productions we’re excited to bring to life.
While this role is currently unpaid, it's a chance to join us in shaping something special from the ground up. As we grow, we'll be looking to create paid opportunities, particularly for specific projects like individual films or shows. When those roles become available, our team members will be the first to hear about them and be considered for these opportunities.
In the meantime, we offer a flexible, remote work environment and a chance to gain hands-on experience in the media industry, all while contributing to exciting and creative projects that have the potential to make an impact globally.
About Memorisica
Memorisica is a growing independent media production company based in the North West of England. We specialise in producing original films, shows, and digital content for broadcasters and VOD platforms. Our goal is to entertain, inspire, and connect with diverse audiences worldwide through heartfelt and innovative storytelling. We are looking for passionate, creative individuals to join our talented team as we continue to expand globally.
Role Overview
We’re looking for an Online Editor, who’s excited to support our creative projects by helping to review, conform, and finish content for broadcast and online distribution. The role is focused on post-production finishing tasks, such as reviewing and conforming edits, applying technical grades, and ensuring content meets broadcast and online standards. This role is more technical than creative editing and involves preparing content for localisation and distribution across various formats and countries.
Don’t worry if you don’t have every skill listed — this is a learning opportunity, and we’re happy to support you as you grow in the role.
Key Responsibilities
Assist with reviewing and conforming edits using DaVinci Resolve, making sure the final content meets specified technical standards.
Apply basic, technical, and creative colour grades to ensure our work looks polished and professional.
Help prepare content for international markets by working on localisation (adding subtitles, adjusting formats for different countries, etc.).
What We’re Looking For
Basic experience with DaVinci Resolve (or a willingness to learn).
Interest in learning about grading and post-production processes.
Attention to detail to ensure that final content meets all technical requirements.
Ability to collaborate effectively in a creative team environment, contributing to a positive and supportive work culture.
Enthusiasm for the media production industry and a desire to learn and grow in post-production.
While it’s not required, having a second language is a plus, especially for projects that involve localisation or international markets. If you’re fluent in another language, it could give you the opportunity to support our work in subtitling and reviewing regional edits, which is a growing focus for our team.
Benefits
Hands-on experience working on exciting projects ranging from trailers to feature films.
Access to a range of film and TV production equipment for personal projects.
A flexible schedule and the ability to work remotely.
The chance to develop your skills in post-production, including grading and QC processes.
Be part of an exciting indie content company with a global vision, working alongside a supportive and passionate team in a creative industry.
