Are you a filmmaker, showrunner, screenwriter, director, cinematographer, editor, or part of a production team ready to elevate your professional journey?
About Memorisica
At Memorisica, we’re more than an independent content company — we’re a production collective. Based in Manchester, UK, we’re building a shared resource network that empowers emerging filmmakers and production teams to create high-quality films, shows, or digital content. Our group is made up of professionals from various cultural backgrounds, beliefs, sexual orientations, and gender identities — each bringing their unique voice to award-winning programming across all genres. By sharing resources like production equipment, studio spaces, and distribution networks, we empower each company to thrive and tell the stories that matter.
Why Join Us?
Gain access to equipment, studio spaces, and distribution channels that help bring your projects to life.
Boost your personal brand with support in graphic design, photography, and market positioning.
Explore new roles in film and TV — and grow your skills at your own pace.
Enjoy regular social events, red carpet premieres, and the support of a friendly, diverse team. We use a shared calendar to keep in the loop on industry events.
Who We’re Looking For:
Filmmakers, showrunners, and production teams with experience in film or TV production.
Motivated professionals with high aspirations to work in film and TV industry.
Teams open to sharing resources (like cameras, lighting, sound gear, props, or costumes) on a voluntary, flexible leasing basis that benefits everyone.
Compensation: While some projects may be funded (and you’ll be compensated on those), please note that all positions, including management, are volunteer-based. You should not expect a regular income, as every bit of revenue is reinvested into the projects we’re excited to bring to life.
Commitment: Our roles are generally project-based, with an average commitment of about 3 hours per week. We value your time and strive to keep commitments flexible and manageable.
For Production Teams/Companies: If you’re applying as a team or a registered company, we will require a one-year licensing agreement for the use of your branding in our promotional materials (or, in some cases, a transfer of copyright ownership). Registered businesses are also expected to provide a small equity stake, ensuring that our success is shared.
Success Story: Our writer and director Max James Walker debuted with an award-winning short film, Bricked Up, which received its own premiere and screened at film festivals, receiving industry accolades. He also hosted our NaSTA-nominated talk show, Beyond the Reel. These latest projects exemplify the kind of success we celebrate at Memorisica. Learn more at https://www.memorisica.com
